Overview of bds 1st year?

Halo frnds. Myself saurabh singh tomar.. M pursuing bds 2nd yr. I wil help new comers of dntal line.
Guys in first year we hav 4 subjects:
1. Anatomy
2. Physiology
3. Biochemistry
4. Dntal anatomy n dntl histology.
Anatomy z most interstng subject. In tis we hav internal structr of our body wich means all arteries, nervs, veins, muscles, organs etc. U'l cum to knw abt each n evry str in body, its location, its appearence, each n evry minute details. Key to hav command on tis subject z read it evryday n keep on revising already read material. Wen i wz havng tis subject i used to study using diff models n suposing diff str on person present in front of me. Tis supposition helpd me a lot.
Nw moving on to physiology, its also a very easy subject. It deals with functioning of diff body systems like cardiovascular sys, nervous sys, excreatory sys etc. Concenctration of ions in diff fluids of body. It tels about mechanisms operating in our body, various nerve reflexes etc.
Nw abt biochemistry. Ur command over tis subject depends upon ur academic knwledge. It deals with various minerals, proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates etc all essential elements required in body with their uses n their deficiency defects. Its very easy academic stdies based subject, although i hated it very much.
Lastly talk abt da/dh. DA portion z very interestng n easy. It deals wit str of al teeth frm al aspects. Various tooth surface details. It wil becum more easy wit tooth carving. Carving z done on wax blocks. Carving z done in same way as toth look likes. It also tels abt time of toth calcification(calcificatn means when calcium gets deposit on tooth) , its eruption(eruption means when toth comes in mouth). Coming 2 next DH portion. Its all about tissues (both hard n soft) of mouth. It includes enamel, dntine, pulp, pdl. Bone of jaw n betwen toth.. Tats all for freshers.
